Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR)

Dholera’s immediate City development area of approximately 5,600 acres is expected to be operational by 2019, while the full city is expected to be developed by 2030.

Dholera Industrial City is envisaged to be a world-class destination with excellent infrastructure. The city will provide opportunities for the setting up of manufacturing units, which will in turn help in increasing the industrial output of the country and create jobs (800,000+).

ABCD Building

The Activation Area in Dholera SIR covers 22.54 sq km in Town Planning Scheme-2, with 72 km of roads and a planned mix of land uses. As a priority zone, it helps speed up early growth and infrastructure development.

Dholera International Airport

Dholera International Airport covers 1,426 hectares and has two runways, reducing pressure on Ahmedabad Airport. It handles growing air traffic, supports economic growth, and helps speed up development in Dholera SIR.

Ahmedabad Dholera Expressway

The 109-km Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway connects Ahmedabad to Dholera with four lanes, expandable up to 12. Project improves connectivity, boosts economic growth, and highlights India’s focus on modern transport infrastructure.

Dholera Metro Rail

The high-speed metro will link Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Dholera, including the international airport. Covering 100 km, it will be built in two phases to make travel easier and improve transport in the region.

Dholera Solar Park covers over 11,000 hectares and produces more than 5,000 MW of clean energy. It supplies eco-friendly power to Dholera Smart City, reduces pollution, and supports sustainable growth for a greener future.
